i have never lived in los angeles longer than it took to complete a film or do a run of a play. the reason i do not live out there and have never chosen to is that, to me, it is a completely separate and insular society. i like being part of the world. one of the reasons i live to new york is that it is the closest i can get to the rest of the world and still be in the united states. i don't understand these people whose major interests revolve only around themselves. so don't ask me that question because i cannot answer it.
